Day 01 - Arrive Cochin
Our representative will receive you after you reach at Cochin Airport, during your Exotic tour to Kerala.
Cochin is the city in the 'God's Own Country', Kerala. It is the coastal town at the western part of India. The city is full of natural beauty and as it is the coastal town this place is also known as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea".

After reaching Cochin get into the hotel.

Day 02 - Cochin
After finishing your breakfast our Exotic Kerala tour correspondent will take you to the sightseeing tour of Cochin. You can explore various things during your tour. As this place was ruled by Portuguese, Dutch and British you will find numerous influences of these countries. On your tour you can have the sight of Jewish Synagogue which was constructed in 1568. Hand painted Chinese tiles was used to make this magnificent architecture. The tiles are of blue and white in color. You can see the St. Francis Church which is the oldest European Church in India. This church was created in 1503. You can find the Dutch influence in the architecture known as the Dutch Palace. This palace can give the sense of the old Dutch lifestyle. In the palace there are Palanquins, murals and many ancient things. You can wander around this old city with paved streets and smell the old charm.

In the evening you can watch the Kathakali Dance performance.

Day 03 - Cochin -Munnar
In the early morning leave Cochin for Munnar in surface bus. Munnar is 135 km away from Cochin and it will take 4 hours to reach Munnar. After your arrival you will get into the hotel. Well known among the British as the Switzerland of India this place offers splendid scenic view. This hill station has Tea Garden, rare flower called Neela Kurunji, Eravikulam National Park and various other things.

Day 04 - Munnar - Periyar
Next day in early morning you can enjoy the beauty of the tea garden of Munnar. After spending some time in Munnar you will leave the place by car to Periyar. After reaching Periyar you will lodge into the hotel. Evening is meant for the boat ride at Periyar Lake.

Day 05 - Periyar
You will spend the entire day in visiting the Periyar National Park.
It is the Project Tiger Reserve. The park is situated at the top of the mountain of Western Ghat.It acquires 777sqare kilometers area of land. On the forest you can find different species of mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish, insects and obviously Tiger.
Return to the hotel in the evening and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 06 - Periyar- Kumarakom
On the sixth day of the Exotic tour to Kerala you will leave Periyar for Kumarakom. Reaching Kumarakom you will get into the hotel. This is a village which is created by the conglomeration of small islands on the banks of Vembanad Lake or Kumarakom Lake. So in the afternoon you can enjoy a boat trip at the lake. You can also roam around this small village which is packed with stunning scenic views and relish the activities of the place.

Day 07 - Kumarakom - Alleppey
Next day you will have a different kind of experience. You will board on a houseboat and enjoy the backwater cruising. You will reach to Alleppey.

Day 08 - Alleppey - Kovalam
In the morning of the Tour Packages for Exotic Kerala you will land at the bank and take the surface bus to Kovalam. In the Kovalam you will check into the hotel.

Day 09 - Kovalam
Kovalam is one of the finest beaches of the world. This silver beach is adorned with lush green palm and coconut trees. So you can enjoy the beauty of the Kovalam beach through out the day. You will feel rejuvenated in body and mind with these scenic views.

Day 10 - Kovalam - Cochin
On the tenth day of the Exotic Kerala tour drive to the Cochin International Airport. From the airport take the flight to Delhi or Bombay from where you can go to your own destination.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrival Cochin (35 km-1 hrs)
On reaching Cochin you will be received and transferred to the hotel from the airport or the railway station. You will take rest and get freshened up. After lunch its time to get a favor of the place with the visit to Cochin Harbor from you will get close to the Arabian Sea. Set off from Fort Cochin and get on to a sight seeing tour to the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets, etc. Rest of the day you can jolly well spend at leisure followed by an overnight stay at Cochin

Day 02 - Cochin - Munnar (150 km-4.5 hrs)
Take a grand breakfast at the hotel and check out to set off on a fascinating journey to Munnar. On your way to your destination enjoy the stunning view of the Cardamom hills & greenery of the tea plantations. When you reach Munnar check in at Hotel/ Resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure to relieve the tiredness of the journey by trekking around the estate. Then have an overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 03 - Munnar
Next morning set out early in the morning to visit the Eravikulam National Park. See the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr and then visit the Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town, the town market. Go back to the hotel and take rest of the day. Have an overnight stay at the hotel

Day 04 Munnar - Thekkady (120 km-4 hrs)
On day 4 it is a bit busy schedule. Your time begins after breakfast. Check out from the Hotel and set off for the wildlife sanctuary at Periyar/Thekkady and check in at the Hotel/Resort near the spot. Your next move is at to attend an evening game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake to see a large variety of wildlife like elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds. After that it is time to return to the hotel and chill for the rest of the day where you can have a peaceful overnight stay at the place.

Day 05 - Thekkady - Kumarakom (130 km-4 hrs)
Next morning drive down to Kumarakom to get a view of the picturesque landscapes on your way.

Next check in at the Hotel/ Resort on the banks of the Vembanad Lake and enjoy the natural beauty. Spend the entire evening at leisure and stay overnight at the Resort to get the better flavor of the place.

Day 06 - Houseboat- Alleppey
Take breakfast at the hotel and arrange to go on a trip to Alleppey. Board a houseboat and enjoy the blissful nature of Alleppey-Kumarakom. The travel on a houseboat in this area is called Kettuvallam cruise across the backwaters. You will spend the next 24 hours in your floating villa. Get a glimpse of the nearby village life which of course will be a unique and unforgettable experience. Watch the sunset & stay overnight on the house boat. This cruise includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 07 - Alleppey – Cochin (100 kms-3 hrs)
Its time to come to the land, that is go shore from the house boat & proceed towards Cochin. Rest of the day is for leisure while you enjoy the restful holidaying in the hotel.

Day 08 - Departure Cochin (40 kms-1 hrs)
Finally it is time to depart as per schedule to the Airport/ Railway station at Cochin for your onward journey. Take back home some wonderful memories and leave behind your grievances to make a new beginning.
